Staff Data Engineer (LATAM Remote)

Description

Luxury Presence — the leading digital platform for luxury real estate professionals trusted by 60,000+ agents and 31 of the Wall Street Journal's top 100 performers, in the top 1% of companies applying AI effectively (engineers work daily with an unlimited budget for Anthropic tokens) — is hiring a Staff Data Engineer to strengthen its MLS Data Platform squad, working fully remotely from anywhere in LATAM. You'll build robust data pipelines and backend services that power high-quality MLS and property data across 400+ feeds, property discovery and search on agent websites, personalised listing recommendations, and conversational AI agents for internal workflows. This sits at the intersection of backend engineering, data infrastructure, and AI-powered products: owning end-to-end MLS listing pipelines (ingestion, transformation, normalisation), building large-scale streaming and batch processing with Kafka and Spark/Flink on AWS, designing event-driven data architectures, and integrating AI agent frameworks including PydanticAI, LangGraph, and Claude Code into production workflows. Vector stores, LLM APIs, and evaluation/monitoring infrastructure for AI systems are also in scope. Strong SQL, data modelling, AWS, and experience building or integrating AI agents into production are required.
