As a backend-focused Senior SWE at Sezzle, you will design and build distributed Go microservices, create high-quality REST APIs, work with a cloud-first architecture on AWS + Kubernetes, and mentor engineering teammates. Sezzle's stack: Golang (primary), TypeScript, React/React Native, MySQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch, AWS, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD. Candidates must have at least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience and must demonstrate experience with Claude or equivalent large language model tools — AI-assisted development is required, not optional. Must have eligible work authorization to work in Latin America. Salary: $5,000–$9,500 USD per month (Gross), acknowledging senior-level expertise and leadership capabilities.
