Airalo — the world's first eSIM store connecting travelers in 200+ countries and regions, a team of 400+ people across 60+ countries that is fully remote by design and has enabled millions of travelers to stay connected through its pioneering eSIM marketplace — is hiring a Head of Public Affairs to build the function from scratch, working fully remotely from the UK, Spain, or UAE. You'll design and lead Airalo's global public affairs strategy, engage government ministries and telecom regulators (OFCOM equivalents, TRAIs, Anatel, etc.) across APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and North America, represent Airalo in regulatory consultations and industry bodies (GSMA, MVNO associations), develop and maintain policy positions on eSIM licensing, data privacy, consumer protection, and digital markets regulation, and build the team beneath you over time. This is a genuinely consequential policy leadership role: Airalo is navigating a rapidly evolving global regulatory landscape for eSIM technology, and your work will directly determine which markets the company can access and how. 8+ years in public affairs, government relations, or regulatory affairs in-house at a tech or telecoms company is required. Salary: UK £98,000–£133,000 · Spain €80,500–€109,000 · UAE AED 459,000–621,000.
