Description

SafetyWing — the YC W18 company building a global social safety net for remote workers, nomads, and globally distributed teams, with a fully remote team of ~150 spanning ten timezones and a mission to remove geographical borders as a barrier to freedom and opportunity — is hiring a Head of Legal to own the legal function entirely, working fully remotely from anywhere in the world. You'll define and lead SafetyWing's legal strategy across its core insurance products (Nomad Insurance, Remote Health, and emerging lines), regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, commercial contracting, corporate governance, and IP. The role reports directly to leadership and is a department head position with full ownership of the legal agenda. Application deadline: July 24, 2026.
