Sales Development Representative – Wikimedia Enterprise

The Wikimedia Foundation — the nonprofit that operates Wikipedia and the Wikimedia free knowledge projects, remote-first with staff and contractors in 40+ countries — is hiring a Sales Development Representative for Wikimedia Enterprise, its commercial data platform, working remotely. Wikimedia Enterprise provides organisations with high-volume, low-latency access to the world's largest open knowledge dataset through enterprise-grade APIs; customers include leading AI labs, search engines, media companies and research institutions, and the revenue directly funds the Wikimedia mission. You will own outbound prospecting for defined verticals, build multi-touch sequences across email, phone, LinkedIn and video, run discovery calls, qualify using MEDDIC, and hand off to Account Executives. Advanced HubSpot proficiency is required — sequences, workflows, custom reports and dashboards. 2–4 years in a B2B SDR/BDR or inside sales role selling SaaS, data products, APIs or developer platforms is required. The role has a defined promotion path to Account Executive. Important details: this is a CONTRACT position (non-US hires engage as a business entity or independent contractor via a local Employer of Record); sponsorship is not available; and while fully remote, US time zone overlap is strongly preferred. Wikimedia can currently hire in Brazil, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kenya (citizens/permanent residents only), Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Singapore (citizens/permanent residents only), South Africa, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, plus 30+ US states. Pay range shown is the US band; it is adjusted to the country of hire.
