Overview of the Consultant – CRM Implementation (Life Sciences) Role

Veeva is seeking a dynamic Consultant to join its expanding CRM implementation team focused on the life sciences sector. In this role, you will help design, configure, and deliver high-quality CRM solutions built on the Veeva Vault platform. You’ll lead client workshops, gather business requirements, and ensure a seamless transition from legacy CRM systems (like Salesforce) to Veeva’s advanced solutions.

As a Consultant, you’ll work directly with pharmaceutical and consumer health organizations across international markets. This is a hands-on, client-facing position that blends business process design, technology implementation, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in implementation projects for Veeva’s CRM solutions

  • Facilitate client workshops, gather end-user requirements, and define CRM workflows

  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure successful solution design and delivery

  • Provide subject matter expertise and best practices to customers and partners

  • Coach junior consultants and contribute to internal process improvements

  • Manage data migrations and platform transitions from Salesforce to Vault CRM

  • Travel as needed (up to 15%) to support global client engagements

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in technology implementation (e.g., Project Manager, Analyst, Architect)

  • 1+ year of experience implementing CRM platforms

  • Experience working with clients in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Consumer Health sectors

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15%

Preferred:

  • Salesforce.com implementation or certification experience

  • Veeva product knowledge or certification

  • Additional European language proficiency

Languages Required:

  • English (fluent – written and spoken)

  • Bonus: Additional European language (e.g., French, German, Spanish)
